The Business Analyst – Strategy plays a pivotal role in driving OneRail’s strategic initiatives. This multifaceted position encompasses project management, research, and data analysis to support the overall vision of OneRail’s strategic plans. The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Executive leadership, Product, Engineering, Logistics, and Customer Success, to ensure alignment and progress across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:
  • Lead the rollout and adoption of OneRail’s OKR and management tracking platform, facilitating bi-weekly meetings with senior leadership to ensure effective utilization and get updates on “at risk” initiatives
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules, including task assignments, resource allocation, milestones, review points, and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and timely delivery.
  • Facilitate effective communication between departments to drive project success.
  • Work with commercial and product stakeholders to help ensure OneRail’s strategic partnerships are tracking towards yearly projections
Research and Analysis:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and define business-critical process improvement projects that align with OneRail’s overall strategy.
  • Evaluate industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential partnership and M&A opportunities.
  • Work with stakeholders to help plan and prepare for potential global expansion initiatives
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership, conveying complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Analyze internal and external datasets to identify areas for operational improvement and strategic opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the success of strategic initiatives.
  • Provide actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field (or commensurate work experience)
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with C-Suite executives
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and finding trends to recommend improvement
  • Must have a strong understanding of SaaS platforms and the ability to quickly become a subject matter expert in our platform
  • Exhibits relentless curiosity and a strong desire to explore problems beyond surface-level understanding.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional but helpful for ideal candidate targeting)
  • Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, corporate strategy, or a similar role, preferably within a SaaS or logistics environment

Compensation
This role falls under Comp Band 5, with an annual base compensation expected to be between $84,000 and $103,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

Work Location
This position is based at OneRail’s headquarters in Orlando, FL (ZIP 32819). On-site presence will be required for this role.
