Reporting to OneRail’s VP of Finance, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for the initiatives within OneRail’s financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, including OneRail’s financial model; budgeting, planning and forecasting; managing new deal reviews; developing presentations for key stakeholders and supporting the VP of Finance and CFO with ad hoc research.

The Financial Analyst will work closely with the broader finance team including the Company’s accounting and audit functions to ensure coordination and fidelity of forecasts with reported results. The Financial Analyst will also work closely with the People Operations (HR) and Information Technology (IT) staff to enhance and integrate Finance, HR, and IT functions and ensure proper processes and controls for all Finance and other company functions.

This role is an on-site opportunity and will require the candidate to work on-site out of our headquarters in Orlando, FL (32819).


Key Responsibilities

  • Forecasting & Reporting: Manage the forecasting and reporting process for major departments within the organization, providing clear insights into performance and guiding strategic decisions.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models that support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning for the business.
  • Tracking & Analysis: Track and analyze key business and financial KPIs, including marketing and sales data, to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and other departments to provide financial insights and support, enabling each team to make informed decisions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Provide actuals and variance analysis, offering insights on financial performance compared to forecasts and identifying drivers of deviations.
  • Market & Business Insights: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and customer insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in an investment banking, management consulting, and/or public accounting firm is preferred.
  • Experience at a high-growth software and/or business services company is preferred.
  • Technically proficient in GAAP, especially as applied to software-as-a-service (SaaS) and business services companies, is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Strong ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional partners at all levels of the organization.
  • SQL proficiency (or willingness to learn) to support data-driven decision-making.
