The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for driving market and customer insight, shaping product positioning, and executing go-to-market strategies that accelerate SaaS adoption and profitable growth. This role partners closely with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders to bring new products and features to market, strengthen value propositions of SaaS and Transportation offerings through brilliant positioning, and articulate what makes OneRail’s solutions uniquely valuable within the logistics and transportation ecosystem.

Responsibilities
Customer, Market, and Competitive Expertise

  • Develop deep understanding of customer needs, challenges, buying journeys, buying criteria, and perceived value.
  • Identify target and emerging market segments through data analysis and voice-of-customer efforts.
  • Uncover actionable insights that inform breakthrough messaging, differentiated positioning, and product innovation.
  • Analyze market drivers, trends, size, opportunities, and threats to guide strategic decisions.
  • Monitor competitors, partners, and industry players to differentiate OneRail’s offerings through superior messaging and positioning.
  • Share customer, market, and competitive insights broadly to advance organizational understanding and alignment.
  • Stay current on emerging trends across SaaS, logistics, and transportation to identify new growth opportunities.
Product Marketing Strategy & Go-To-Market Execution
  • Develop and execute product marketing strategies for SaaS and transportation solutions, including existing offerings and new product launches.
  • Lead product positioning and differentiation efforts, influencing messaging, pricing inputs, and roadmap considerations.
  • Create marketing briefs and lead cross-functional briefings for product development and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Product Management to influence roadmap decisions using customer and market insights.
  • Own go-to-market strategies from ideation through execution, ensuring launch goals, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Develop and support sales enablement tools, training, and content across the customer lifecycle, including value propositions, competitive differentiators, and portfolio positioning.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and other stakeholders to align plans and gather input.
  • Guide Marketing & Communications and external agencies by providing clear objectives, strategic direction, and thoughtful feedback.
Qualifications (Required)
  • 5+ years of professional software marketing experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Demonstrated success executing go-to-market strategies that drive SaaS adoption and revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of product positioning, customer segmentation, and value-based messaging.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, including software developers and commercial teams.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting competing deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong storytelling capability.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience marketing SaaS products, with exposure to supply chain, logistics, or transportation technology strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Passion for technology and comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence without authority.


Compensation
This role falls under Comp Band 7, with an annual base compensation expected to be between $111,500 and $136,200 depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.


Work Location
This position is based out of OneRail’s headquarters in Orlando, FL (ZIP 32819). Remote candidates will be considered, with preference given to those located in the Central Florida area. On-site presence may be required several times throughout the year for all remote candidates.
